PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Mike Fewings the founder of Oscilmet is a weather expert and a storm chaser with a passion for helping people avoid severe weather events. Being an I.T. computer programmer & coder he developed a proprietary algorithm that is currently being developed into an App. for smart phones.

Designed to protect peoples lives and property, he approached T3D to re-develop his existing brand identity. We designed the Oscilmet logo and created a style guide that is being used by the App. developers and Insurance companies to take the App. to market in late 2015.

ARTIST STATEMENT

It was important for this project to create an identity that positioned Oscilmet as the high tech company it is and create a brand that the business can grow into into the future. the identity was to coincide with the launch of the new app. Peril Alert whilst rebranding their current proprietary software Hail Map.

The logo represents the many facets to the business and is a stylised graphic that represents the spinning nature of weather patterns seen in nature.
